COME and SING with Cunninghame Choir!
Sunday 29th May, from 12.30pm, Beith Community Centre

Join us for our final Faure Requiem rehearsal with professional soloists and piano accompaniment. This is open to all choral singers who are comfortable reading sheet music and have some experience in singing in choirs already. We will be using the Oxford edition of the score.

We also have a separate Singing Workshop for novice singers after the Requiem rehearsal, which requires no music-reading ability or previous singing experience. We will be singing some well-known traditional and folk songs as well as a fun musical number. 

All attendees from both the Faure Requiem rehearsal and Singing Workshop are invited to sing in our concert that evening. You are welcome to sign up for both sessions or just the one. 

£10 per person, which includes afternoon refreshments plus one ticket for friend or family member for our evening concert, where you can also perform your afternoon's work with the full choir.

Please note that our venue, Beith Community Centre, is fully accessible with ramp access and accessible WC.

12.30pm - Registration - introductions, collect scores and name badges

1pm - Rehearsal, Faure Requiem

2.30pm - Registration - singing workshop

2.40pm - tea break

3pm - Singing workshop for Hills and Glens / popular musical number

5.00pm - evening refreshments

6.45pm - vocal warm up

7pm - Evening concert, A Faure Soiree, with piano accompaniment and guest soloists.
